Devin Holloway is a NYC based actor who was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. As a child his family nicknamed him Tweety Bird because of his hyperactive energy and disproportionally sized head. His first introduction into theater was at the age of 5 when his grandmother bought him the Peter Pan VHS starring Mary Martin. After seeing that show he was spellbound by Musical Theater.

As the years passed Devin kept his interest in performance but never fully delved into the art form. It wasn’t until Hurricane Katrina that he found a new passion for performance. The storm, though heartbreaking and emotional, was a silver lining into his studying of acting, singing, and dancing at the Center Stage Performing Arts Academy and later at the arts high school NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts). Upon graduating from NOCCA he received the Freda M. Lupin Award in Musical Theater for his work.

Devin continued his studies at Emerson College in Boston where he received his BA in Acting/ Musical Theater. During and after his time in Boston he had the pleasure of working with established artist such as Charles Randolf Wright, Maurice Hines, Anne Bogart, Nona Hendrix, Melba Moore, and Bebe Winans as well as volunteering for Big Brother Big Sisters. Regionally he has also worked with the NOCCA Company, Wheelock Family Theatre, and A.R.T. Right after graduating college Holloway was fortunate to receive his first professional job joining the National Tour of Sesame Street LIVE: Make a New Friend as a swing.

Outside of performing Devin enjoys being a Manny (male nanny), puppet making, crafts, working out, cooking for friends, spending endless hours on Youtube, and Nutella; lots of Nutella. His family and friends are a constant source of inspiration for his work, especially his grandmother Olander Holloway, aka Meme, who has helped him throughout his life and who is also his biggest supporter. Thank you for visiting and Much Love!
